The Roadi RDT40 is an entry-level handheld automotive diagnostic trouble code reading tool that is designed for use by both novice and experienced do-it-yourselfers. It is able to read the OBD-II trouble codes that are generated by virtually all consumer automobiles sold in the US since 1996. The RDT40 can also read the EOBD and JOBD codes generated by cars sold in Europe and Japan. It’s easy to use, and is compatible with all five OBD-II protocols (CAN, VPW, PWM, ISO9141, KW2000). The RDT40 also has the ability to retrieve vehicle ID numbers (VIN) and can be updated with new code definition via USB connection to your computer.
